Default Hurricane JEANNE Advisory Archive

Where will Hurricane Jeanne go??
Surely it wont hit us, weve already had 3 hurricanes. It would be an impossibility for a 4th to hit us. Oh I see, the National hurricane center has forecast it to go out into the Atlantic and not be a threat to anyone. 4 days later... Wait, there's Hurricane Jeanne doing a loop de loop out in the middle of the Atlantic, isn't that nice? Haiti doesn't think so. Look there's Hurricane Jeanne headed straight for the Florida coast. But wait, the National Hurricane center says it will just touch the coastline and be blown out into the Atlantic. No need to worry right? Do we TRUST the National hurricane center? Not at all, at least not this season. So here I sit after the 3rd Hurricane to blow through Polk County this Season has almost half the population in the dark. I got smart after Frances left the building and bought a generator. Now my expensive marine critters have light, filtration and all the comforts of home.
My yard has enough branches to build a small oak tree and there are trees down all over the neighborhood, But everyone is OK So, I'm not complaining, just glad that it's over for now. Here's hoping the rest of my fellow Floridians are doing ok........Jim

I second that. I'm actually working on an anti hurricane contraptions. My first idea was making a huge fan that would blow hurricanes into the atlantic and away from us. I upgraded to a water cooling idea where through the use of nitrogen and tesla coils I would use high voltage shocks to freeze the surface waters in the path of the hurricane. After having the contraption fully designed and running a search for venture capitalist that would sponsor such a crazy idea I decided to drop it because freezing the surface water would kill plankton, and that's not cool.

Hey you know what I learned highlight this happy face and he turns chinese or is it japanese. Oh well.
