Welcome to 3 Reef. Make sure to plan plan plan before taking the dive. Pick out all your equipment that you want and need then start getting it before you convert. It's as expensive as it is rewarding and satisfaction is hardly a possibility. Forums are a great place to start!

yes i have noticed it's a pricey hobby i have reading and checking for equipment. a lfs has a 65 sump with a overflow box protein skimmer and a pump for $400. which seems pretty good being i was going to piece everything. So the next big purchased is lights.

Well make sure you Spend the little extra on the lights, Personally, i've found they are one if not the most important item.
