| Re: Greetings As far as online vendors, try premiumaquatics.com. Great company with a good reputation. And they are in Indianapolis, so shipping will not be as high as some of the other online places. Or if you have a day to kill, Drive down! (I know you will eat up $500 in gas just to get here and back ) Seriously, if you do decide to pay a visit to them, they are only open for walkin business from 12p - 3p on Saturday.

| Re: Greetings hey all! i just joined, ive always been interested in aquariums, and recently (last year) started out with a freshwater, then went to the LFS and found out about SW/REEFS and got hooked. I have a 55 gallon SW with/ 4 anenome's and 2 clowns and 2 tangs...
im in the military and deployed overseas, my wife has been in charge of the tank. Only about 3 more weeks untill i get back home to italy, and ive ordered an ES-C5-2 skimmer and everything else i need to start my refug project. So i cant wait to start that, and start my battle with a red algae outbreak. Ive been browsing the site for some time now and found lots of great info! let me tell ya its easy to get lost in all threads. Thanks for the great info keep it up, and i hope to post pictures when i get back home, of my step by step project. |

| Re: Greetings Hey! Welcome to 3 Reef! Thank you so much for your military service!!!
You say you are going back home to Italy...is that your country of origin, or are you stationed on a base there from the USA or elsewhere?
Please do post pics when you get back home, and perhaps start a new thread so Freddie can keep the train of thought going in this one |

| Re: Greetings freddie, per birdlady's recommendation I purchased a ro/di unit (typhoon III) from airwaterice.com and their service is AWESOME! I was unlucky enough to get a leaky unit (he said one out of about 200 might have a tiny leak), but after calling him up he sent out a new one no charge with a return label to send my leaky one back to him as he didn't want me to have to bother with disassembly and trying to fix the leak myself...awesome service!
