Default Georgia Aquarium

Hey guys, i just visited this aquarium, and as i promised, i have pictures.
My opinion, the aquarium was overhyped. All i heard was that the aquarium was the best, most atractive, it would leave anybody in total shock!!! I personally found the aquarium intresting and all, but i have seen better. For example, Ripley's aquarium in Tennesse is my favorite, well here are some pics of Gerogia aquarium. Let me know what you all think!!

Heres a photo summary of the aquarium in just a few pics!

The pics are great. How long did it take to see everything? We would like to go to the Atlanta aquarium someday. I just watched a show on PBS about it. I have to say that Monteray Bay Aquarium is first on my list to see. We too love the Ripleys Aquarium in TN. We have been there twice. We also like the Chattanooga aquarium. Once while headed south we stopped in the Charleston,SC aquarium. Well at least we can say we have been and that is about all I can say about it.

It looks pretty nice from your pics turbo4603! That was a great shot of the sea turtle and I especially liked the crab photo under the red lighting!
The one in my area was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina and is slowly getting back on its feet although with less than half of the population to support it the future seems doubtfull. The aquarium in DisneyWorld was something to see-two stories of saltwatergoodness- I could have spent 1/2 my trip checking it out

Dont get me wrong, the aquarium was nice, and i would go again if i had the chance. Just it was advertised and talked about as the best, and it really isnt. But the fish were beutiful, and the tanks were big, just, i wasnt 100% satisfied.
It took me 3 1/2 to 4 hours to see it all, and thats without seeing any shows because each show costs 6 bucks, plus the 24 dollar entrance fee.
Im glad you all liked the pics!!

Thanks Turbo.
I think the problem is your experience.
I'm finding I have the same problem.
The Chicago Aquarium is Just OK.
The one on New Orleans is also just ok.
The one in San Fran is decent.
The one on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii is pretty cool.
The one in Mandalay Bay just ok as well.
The Seattle Aquarium i went to but don't even remember.
Bush Gardens FL was better than I expected but small and mostly Fresh Water
I think it is time to start checking out the ones I keep reading about in Germany :-)
