He had to of gotten beat up in the process!! I was talkin about with a spear... still hardcore though!! Alot of states are introducing primitive weapons season... I would be safe but I don't think a belt would be considered a primitive weapon!! And I would probably never do it, it's just funny what you think of when you have a small buck under your tree and you have time to think about this stuff!! |

As far as being afraid to use an arrow... I have to post something to defend hunters on this subject... most hunters (myself included) would say that a quick, clean kill is priority #1. Sometimes this doesn't happen, too many variables involved, most notably human error! But it happens, you just try to do anything you can to avoid it. Just like a tank... you do everything you can to ensure healthy living for all creatures involved, but s@#& happens and sometimes things die!!
*NOTE* I know you didn't mean anything by your post, I guess I just like to get the word out about how hunting is good |

| HAHAHAHA!
GREAT STORY!
If we ever get to meet I will tell you my deer story. It involved a hammer, a carpet knife and of course a deer. And yes, like you, I took a beating but eventually won the fight. Tough critters. Like Pit Bulls yes |
