| the before and after I was looking through my pics and I thought I would share the before and now photos. My tank is exactly 1 yr and one mnth old, what a difference.
1 - just after we added the rocks..Jul 06
2 - a few mnths later
3 - nov 06
4 - now _________ 20g
25lbs LR
1 hydor koralia
rio nano skimmer FISH: blk/white clown, damsel, yellow watchman goby CORAL: grn open brain, acan, torch, rics, toadstool, zoo's
INVERT:[/u] hermits, nassarius, astrea, turbo's, nerites, crocea clam

| Yes, it looks great! What is this green hair algae problem I've been reading about? I don't see it anywhere.........

| erm not to come off negative but in the third picture i noticed you might be missing a starfish from your tank |

| I never had a starfish, but then I noticed the one on the shelf...lol. I have always been religious with my water changes. The most the tank goes without a water change is 2 days later than the every 2 wks. I hate water changes but it is the only way to maintain an aquarium be it reef, fo, FW, or brackish.
The hair algae isn't a horrible situation, it's in small parts in the tank but I want it gone before it becomes a huge problem. |
