I don't want to be a stick in the mud about it, and won't mention anything (at least try very hard not to) else about feeding bears after this.

I hope you do realize that bears that become nuisances from having no fear of people (from feeding) can kill people and dogs, cause great amounts of property damage and in turn, get euthanized because they don't have a fear of humans. I think it may even be illegal to feed bears.

I know your last post in response to mine was supposed to be funny, but being a resident of this state, and having a cottage way up north, I see the bad things that can happen from this activity.

I love all animals, but some just need to be admired from a distance.

I will get off my soapbox now.

please don't un friend me LOL

Yes, it is illegal to feed bears in many states. All information stated is correct. My freshman year I got to take part in a black bear study in WV. You know the feeding of bears is bad when you use doughnuts as bait.

Don't feed any wild animals please.

I feel sorry for bears that are lured into situations they have to assault a human then are shot by Forest Rangers

I understand, I like looking at wildlife myself.

The other day we had a deer in my yard.

Then there's this wildlife that I purposely brought home the other day.

He bites too.
