| WOW from a humble LFS Ninja to a Marine World Super Star!!!!
It's always good to see someone who has worked hard get a job that they enjoy and move up in the scheme of things. I am sure that we all wish we had a job where we could go and have a little fun and make money
Good to see you back.

| Round 2, i think i got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, Ive had the big interview of my life thus far, with an encouraging response from Mr. shultz (curator of fish for MW) Ive landed the 2nd interview.....I dont know if anyone else has either but man Im pumped! Ive been reading like theres know tommarrow.
About the facility, I found out more about the position....entry level begins in the resturant displays (sounds pittley, belive me its not) which contain well over 20,000 gals of water over 12 large displays. If hired ill be working with alot of the cold water native displays and a VERy large 18,000 gal tropical thats being remodeled. The filtraion is no joke, there are 3 main fluidized bed filters that are about 12x10' at least, many many other sub sfilters and a series of ozone gens, straigh uv's, skimmers ect! Theres a small lab where food cultures like rotifers, micoalgaes, calurpa, and macro are grown for feeding, which is connected to the lab room for analysis of disease, parasites, and the like complete with all sorts of equiptment. Looks like a very steep pile of responsibilities that im dying to dive into! From this position you can move to any in the department, and because it is under new managment the likleyhood of advancement is high. Is there anyone here that has, had,or may have an aquarium job at a park before? Im going in on Thurs and am studying nonstop until then in case of Any type of testing. |
