arrow head on the loose so when i bought my arrow head crab his "spread" was about the size of a quarter. he was so tiny and cute.. well three months later, i looked in the tank and was like "whoa", he was huge. his head when i bought him was barely even visible, now it was huge and i could see why they call them arrow heads, it was a huge arrow shaped head. his leg spread was the size of a softball. being that i have a 20 gallon it was time to bring him back to the LFS. after several attempts i finally fished him out and in the process of taking him from the net to the "pitcher" for transfer he got loose.. so here i am watching a huge arrow head crab scurrying across my carpet. he was freaky inside the tank and now even more so watching him run around my carpet, stuff nightmares are made of. i was afraid to net him (crush him) and i was too freaked out to grab him with my hands.. i finally netted him and got him back to the LFS. the guy was like "whoa, thats the biggest arrow head crab ive ever seen.. moral of the story, be wary about what you put in your tank if you dont have room, some of these things grow at biblical proportions.. (and they can be the stuff of "b" monster movies)
