Is it just me or does anyone else have issues with this forum and Internet Explorer?

The problem i am having is with it basically crashing IE while i am browsing. And before i get berated for using IE, I am accessing it from work of which they only use IE and can't use any other browser.

My guess is the forum here is way to bad@$$ for my work computer and it just can't handle it. So I was just wondering if anyone else was having any issues with it or not.

Maybe I am overloading it. I have all these internet based programs I have to use. It is just a pain when it craps out on me and then closes everything.

Quick.. stand up and walk out of the bldg.. starting looking for a new job!!

IE is like using windows 98 but windows 98 was better ha ha ha.

only thing I can think is maybe a flash crash and you would need to look into updating that.

Luv the fact you quickly pointed out it was at work.. very smart

Is the problem ongoing or does it just happen on occasion?

I have occasional issues- sometimes it's 3Reef, sometimes it's Facebook, sometimes it's Yahoo, AOL, Weatherbug, etc., etc. Sometimes it only takes a reload to fix, but other times it may last an hour or two or even all day. Most times everything works perfectly fine, but when something is acting up, it's always just one site. My personal belief is that it may be an ISP or AD server glitching or maybe even under attack... that's something that's happening somewhere nearly every day.

My systems: Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 12.04 (dual-boot) running Firefox 28.0 on both.

yeah firefox is what i use at home. I have never had an issue with it. I do have Windows Vista at home though.:-[ BUT, the military paid for it and wouldn't let me upgrade it. But hey, free laptop.

Jokes aside, IE is rife with issues.
IE is the last browser your company should be using if it cares anything about the security of those systems.
It's time for a sit-down with some of the higher ups.

LOL... the only thing worse than Win 98 was ME (Mistake Edition). Even after 8 years of vigorous patching, 98 STILL had known flaws when it reached it's EOL. :D
