Default clay pots to lay eggs on

Do I need to be on the look out for anything special about the clay pots I want to put in the breeder tanks for the clowns to lay eggs on. Will just any standard fired clay pottery work, I would imagine that it needs to be non - glazed. Thanks

Why not try a ceramic or clay tile? Probably be easier to place in the tank.
