The switch from cc to sand!!

We are in the process of changing out the cc to sand.. We are doing this partially because we have had a really bad problem with GHA.. We still have a GHA problem but it has slowed down .. All the advise you all have given us has help significantly!! Thank you all!! We are going down a list that reefsparky gave us to follow and on the list was to switch out the cc so that is what we are doing.. Thus far everything is going good!! .. We will be doing another section in about a week and a half.. we want to make sure that bacteria is good and growing in the sand before we procced.. I cant wait to see it when we are done .. I already like the way it looks... I think the fish will be happy... The only sad thing thus far is that we lost two crabs ... I think they couldnt handle the stress.. but thats all we have lost.. So lets keep our fingures crossed that we dont lose anyone else.. We are doing this is small sections... We are hoping to do this in 3 rounds all together.. Well keep you fingures crossed for us!!
