Default what is wrong? suddenly my tank is green even my sand?

i believe i have algae problem or this is just a part of my cycling processes because my tank is still young 7 week old. i have RSM, i just buy phosphate,calcium and kh test kit i also have ph,nitrite,nitrate and ammonia testers(api) what should be the my numbers by now especially phosphate,calcium and KH or anything else. my ammonia nitrite and nitrate was 0 last night and my ph 8.3 salinity 1,023 so far.

any pics? sounds like cyanobacteria to me though

best way to get rid of it is vaccuming it up while doing water changes

unfortunately not now but i will send pictures soon. is green color part of the cycling process or type of algae in my case also 8 hours lighting and room has sun light 2-5 pm i was thinking that or may be my fine mecanical filter clog up or over feeding flake food ones a day and every 2-3 days 1/2 brine shrimp that they no flake also i was feeding my blue hippo tank with super veggie and algae flake i also have 2 clowns and some corals. and cleaning crew.

If you have direct sunlight hitting the tank, this will have a major impact on the algae in your tank, 3 hours a day is bad, if you can't move the tank, then i would recommend shutting the curtains ir blinds in this time...feed the fish every other day & put some phos filters in the filter...

when i had the direct sunlight issue i went to bed bath and beyond, can get them about anywhere though and got some "blackout curtains" you can hang these behind your normal curtainis and they block all light through that window and their faily cheap

I agree. Everything I read and from my experience you are in the middle of a normal process. I had the brown (diatoms), followed by green slime/hair, then the red (cyano) slime.

Turbo snails and time cleaned things up the best for me.

Yep thats the same order mine went in. Still have a little bit of green but raising my mag. so hopefully that helps.
