I'm not sure what you are speaking of, the "white parts" on what? *The pic isn't very clear. *I agree that something doesn't look right, especially if that is an acro, but the pic isn't clear enough for me to be able to tell what...

| Re: What's happening? Started a couple of days ago. Ca-525, KH/ALK-8.3/2.97, NO3-2.5. It appears to be turning into a skeleton. Changed 03's about a week ago. |

| Re: What's happening? It looks like that part is just "bleaching out." Do you have any coralline algae doing the same thing?
I'd say that part of your coral is dying, as to the cause, that is yet to be determined. Your Ca appears to be kinda high, but you apparently want it that way. Do you know what that high Ca and high Alk has done to your ionic balance? What is your magnesium level? Magnesium can help keep Ca, Alk, kH, and pH, in balance... [smiley=thinking2.gif] |
