Hey xabo,

I'm not sure what you are speaking of, the "white parts" on what? *The pic isn't very clear. *I agree that something doesn't look right, especially if that is an acro, but the pic isn't clear enough for me to be able to tell what...
Can you get us a better pic???

Can you give me a brief description of what's going on? When did this start? How fast did it happen? What are you water parameters?

Thanks in advance!!!

Started a couple of days ago. Ca-525, KH/ALK-8.3/2.97, NO3-2.5. It appears to be turning into a skeleton. Changed 03's about a week ago.

How long have you had it?
What are you dosing?
Water changes?

Is this under your new USHIO lights yet?

Sorry to hit you with more, maybe we can narrow it down.

It looks like that part is just "bleaching out." Do you have any coralline algae doing the same thing?

I'd say that part of your coral is dying, as to the cause, that is yet to be determined. Your Ca appears to be kinda high, but you apparently want it that way. Do you know what that high Ca and high Alk has done to your ionic balance? What is your magnesium level? Magnesium can help keep Ca, Alk, kH, and pH, in balance... [smiley=thinking2.gif]
