Maybe I'm being a bit thick here (wouldn't be the first time  ) but aren't you just talking about earthing the tank?
Take a piece of wire, one end goes to tank, other end to a radiator. Job done. |

anyway one of his drunk friends though it'd be cool to see a bud light bottle floating in it
killed everything in the tank
I told him if someone did that to my reef tank they'd end up floating in it too _________
