Default Tank Problem

Hey I have a 12 gallon nano I believe it is an Aquopod. This happens one or two times a week. My tanks water turns white I can't really explain the look of the tank when this happens and I have no pictures. To cure the problem I add a half a cup of RO water and it stops. Anyone know what is wrong with my tank?

Ammonia will tend to cause water to look cloudy or, white.

Could it be something as simple as water level getting low and your filter picking up a little air??

Default Ca,Mg,KH?

HI,
Its possiable that you are seeing a precip event due to KH to high or some other problem with calcium or low Mag.
It would help to see some chemical test results, does this occur after water changes, are you allowing the water to equilibrate before adding or pouring it in right after making, some people age the water in a garbage can with a power head.
Many vendors increase the KH and calcium to allow for dilution in a big tank, to replace lost calicum and KH in a small tank it may be too much.
Juist a guess.
Doug

it is a fairly new tank it has nothing to do with water conditions all my water conditions are fine besides phosphates which is being worked on. It is something with my filter but i dont know what.
Maybe it is just low water level?
