Default Splitting?
Why would a brain coral split? Is it bad? I have three which splitted almost at the same time. new in setup is a)moved to a 60 from a 35. b)kalwasser use. c)8" dsb new tank.

must be the kalwasser?

I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong!

do they still look healthy? if so maby your water has the right conditions for them to split and multiply its possible

hello karla. yes they look bloated. and not shriveled up or having RTN. the only new thing (besides moving to a bigger tank) is use of kalwasser. Must be that!
