At the store I didn't notice what they were but he did have 2 fixtures on the top with a total of 4 bulbs, probably some 10,000k's or even some lower wattage fluorescents. I am not sure though. Thanks for all the information so far I'm going to go set the bunch on the bottom. Should I keep the lights on?

Also has anyone ever seen their mushroom have stringy stuff hang out of them or off of them?

I hope it's not guts, will it be alright if it is guts? I mean should that be occurring just from transport to a new tank?

To be honest, if its guts, thats not a good sign. I would definately keep the lights on and just place on the bottom and wait. Good luck. Luna
