| Spanish Shawl Nudibranch | So heres the deal. I have a small fairly young powder brown tang in a 40 gallon, which as i know is way to small. I knew this when i purchase him. He was very small, and i intended to return him to the LFS once he began to outgrow my tank. Problem is, The trusty LFS jumped ship and changed locations. They are now about 3 hours north of my location, and they were the only good LFS within that distance. (pet supplies and petco don't count obviously). He has begun to outgrow the 40, and i have nowhere to take him. I don't just want to watch him slowly die or be tortured from lack of space. so what do i do??? _________ 26 gal nano reef, carribian red shrooms, blue spotted shrooms, flower anemone, pink carnation, 4 hermit crabs, coral banded shrimp, 3 turbo snails, lawnmower blenny, royal gramma, midnight/nox angel. 40 gal FOWLR: powder brown tang (really small one), Marine betta, 3 green chromises, brittle star. |

| Aiptasia Anemone | ya agreed go for a bigger tank, you can find them cheap on craigs all day long. If not you could prolly trade him for another fish to local forums. I have a sailfin in my 65 and when he outgrows it and I dont have a bigger tank by then he will go to a local friend with a bigger tank. Rather him live than to die in a small tank. How long have you had him for? _________ 65g DT and 20g Sump,90 lbs of rock,Sundial T5 HO 4x39 light, Octopus NW-150 skimmer, K4+K2+K2 w/ 420 gph return,Aquavue phosphate reactor.....2 Ocellaris clowns, Juvie Sailfin,Watchman goby, cleaner shrimp, bunch of corals......... 75g in the mix now, almost got all the parts purchased, just need to get the rest of the plumbing and finish the stand. | Spanish Shawl Nudibranch | bout a year actually. A bigger tank is not an option really. Just not something i can really invest in at the moment. No room Either. and my town is rediculously small and unheard of. i don't think we have a reef club. |
