Default please help!!!!! tang captured

ok so my yellow tang has not gotten any better after the let nature take its course method of treatment. now my neon goby has white spots on it because he cleans him all the time, clown fish and dragonette not affected yet. well after seeing my neon with the same white fungus on him i decided to build a fish trap i cought the yellow tang in like 2.2 sec. now im not sure what i should do. i dont have a hospital tank running. i just had to get him out he was starting to eat corals, he killed my firefish, and is infected with some white cotton like fungus, black ick, and now i belive white ick. i got him in a floated bag in the top of the tank. obviously cant keep him there for too long. i swear my water parims are in check, havent seen nitrate in months, i have thriving corals. all my fish were perfect untill i added this rogue tang. what should i do? pleassssseeee help.
thank you

IMO send him to the local wastewater treatment facility! It seems like more yellows than not are little ba$&@%^$. I wouldn't get one for my tank, heard too many bad things. I know it sucks but at work when there is a problem we rid ourselves of the problem. Doubt you could trade him since he is sick, would probably be morally wrong too. Just my 2 pennies

Hey BluePhish,
I had the same looking spots on my yellow tang too. Have a read through this.
Yellow Tang has big white spots - not ich
Maybe your's is the same, maybe it's different?
They just fell off on Monday. Omard says let them be, as long as the fish is otherwise healthy. Do you have any pictures of the infected neon goby?

Simple rubbermade container, heater, aeration, and a powerhead. Along with the treatment of your choice. Hyposalinity, meds. etc....

Much better advice than mine!! I would still trade him when he got healthy though, I know it isn't true with all of them but I've heard too many similar stories about problematic yellow tangs. Let us know what you do!!

My yellow isn't too aggressive to any other fish in the tank. They all hang out together.

its exactly like that pic except it spread over almost the entire end of his dorsal and anal fins. and has some over his gills.(which def is not good). i at first cought him and was gonna freeze him slowley but i felt really bad and didnt want the karma that comes with that. so i think ill set up a 5 gal bucket under my tank i got a airpump but no heater. i think if i rap a blanket around it should stay warm enough. not really sure what ill do then, if its still alive tomarrow morning after all that stress. i guess ill try to treat him , but he aint going back in my tank. it just sucks i was trying to make a responsible desision when buying the tang, i dint want to buy nothing that i couldnt take care of. thats why i got the tang instead of a mandarin. oops! thanks for all the quick responses. ill let you know tomarrow how he handled the stress.

Try a blue or brown, much more docile.

Bogie- like I said, not all yellows are punks, just most of em
