Question Peanut Worm Help!

Hey all,

I have (had) a peanut worm, and this morning I noticed it was a little "fuzzy" looking in one spot (like a milky clear liquid in a bubble on the outside middle of the worm). when I came home from work, my worm was in 2 parts. Did it die? or do these guys split like that?? I tried looking online, but didn't find much.

What should I do??? Is he dead? Alive? Should I leave him in there? or take him out??

Wonder if something was feeding on it? Either that or problems regarding your water parameters or feeding-though if everything else is doing well I would probably go with starvation!
