The venturi is clean it's brand new. I didn't fill the skimmer myself but when I plugged in the pump it filled it up.With the pump on and everything hooked up the skimmer fills up. Water comes out the return line into the tank from the skimmer just no bubbles to make foam! ???

Weird!

[smiley=stars.gif]

With the pump off, try blowing into the airline. Can you get bubbles into the skimmer? If not, there is a block somewhere.

Or is there an air regulator screw?

That's all I can think of, if all fails, call P.M. at 888-825-6716.

With the pump off if I blow into the airline the bubbles come out the intake on the pump. But when it's on if I blow into it the bubbles go into the skimmer but as soon as I stop blowing the water starts coming out again. The phone # you gave me is disconnected. I tried them earlier

Somethings not right with that valve. P.M. had an email address or hunt down Gresham. Maybe your local store has another venturi valve. I'd give it a shot.

When I take the pump off the skimmer the venturi works fine then when I hook it up to the skimmer even if I do it while it's still running water starts coming from the airline? I don't think it's the valve. But thank you matt any input is apperciated!

Hey just a question are you supposed to hook an air pump up to the venturi line cus I did that and it works?
I have alot of excess bubbles coming in the tank from the return but I could turn the air pump down with the gang valve? I don't think you are supposed to put an air pump there but I don't know for sure

Not an air pump but an adjustable air line that allows air to bee drwan in. You adjust it until you are getting a good dry foam in the collection cup.

That's a good idea for when it's working Craig, but what about now with water shooting out?

I wish I was there to help you out David, this is bugging me.

Default Re: P.M. skimmer

can I suggest:
1. add a 90 degree threaded with a flip.
2. use clear tub and attach to Flip end.
3. level the power head to aquarium water level.
(basically top of the power head to the level of the water)
