Default Ozone and Euroreef Question

I am planning on adding Ozone to my 90 gallon tank. My main question is I am currently using a Euroreef skimmer and I am debating on running the ozone thru it. Any thoughts on how to modify this so it is not harmful. Also are there any good Cheap Reactors, DIY or not.

Thanks in advance. Was looking at ozotech or sanders 200mg models. Also which Orp controller would you recommend?

i ran ozone through one of my euro-reef skimmers from the air inlet on the pump. worked fine. but the pumps life didnt last long and neither did the next 2 pumps with the ozone hooked up to it.

if your a diy, any closed container will work as a reactor as long as you can control the drip rate and co2 bubble rate. k2r makes a nice reactor.

aqua zone makes a nice orp controller.

this is all personal preference, everybody has their own way.

A 90 look at the red sea Plus with probe and thats a good unit I've run 03 for ever naver had any issues with it other then a very effecient skimmer and crystal clear water. ORP around from 360's late afternoon to 400 early A.M all the time.. Let somthing start to decay like excess food ot dead animals then you see it..

where is your probe located in relationship to your skimmer? I have my probe in the tank and my ozone through my skimmer in the sump 10 feet away. and only get reading as high as 300.

Location of the probe has no effect on the reading if the water is clean and healthy then it will read the same anywhere with in the sysem. At 300 and if you have a good probe then you have somthing wrong what is the redox early in the AM before lighst come one ? And what is the reading at night just before or after lights out .

You have something wrong is its a correctly calibrated unit ? What type is it and what size system is it used on and what type of skimmer is it on ? Just in the basement and ours is at 360's now and lights have been on since 12:00 P.M EST. And she was in there cutting corals and messing around also .. it was at 410 when she started about 10:30 A.M Its really effected but the time of day and photo period
