new african anenome

Please HELP :'(
Bought our first anenome-African? Does not match discription in our books but dealer said it was. Bright yellow. Anyway it does not seem to be grabbing on to any of the live rock. It's tenticales seem to be deflating. We have a 75 gln witha 48 inch/260 watt double linear strip. Also we are pretty sure it ate a piece of krill. Do we do anything or allow it to do what it is doing? Seemed fine for the first 2 days.

It doesn't seem that you have enough light to keep and anenome happy. but how did you acclimate it?

Yes a scientific name and picture ould be of great help. It is not uncommon for an anenome to do well the first couple of days as it still has water in its system it is used to. Now as it replaces water from your tank it is a real crap shoot in terms of diagnosis. What are your water parameters (temp, salinity, ammonia, Ph etc.)? What is your tank setup (substrate, live rock, filtration - biological and mechanical and your current livestock?

Sorry so many questions but tough to diagnos without the answers.

Ive never heard of an african anemone either a pic would be helpful. sometimes things are sold under the wrong name or it could just be an odd critter
