Exclamation Moon polyps slimed my tank!! Help!

I recently put a new piece of moon polyps in my tank, it might have been a little stressed from the move, but I didn't notice it at the time.

I woke up the next morning and there was a huge blanket of whitish slime all over the tank. The slime was obviously coming from the new coral. I tried to siphon it off everything the bast I could. What I couldn't siphon off, I gently blew off.

All of my LPS corals look like crap. My frogspawn, hammer and torch are almost completely retracted. My blasto (my favorite) seemed to get the thickest blanket of slime, and is almost totally retracted too.

The water is still cloudy, but I'm doing a 25% water change right now.

Is there anything else I can do?

I don't want to lose these other corals.

PS: the moon slimer has been moved to another tank with no other corals in it.

Thanks!

May want to get more internal circulation in the tank also to help keep it clear and off of the corals

I have a new bag of chemi-pure in the tank now, but I don't have a skimmer.

I did add another powerhead, and just did a water change.

There's still some stringy slime floating around. All of my LPS's look like they were 'burned' or something. My open brain actually has tiny white spots in it now, and producing some of it's own slime.

What is going on?

Hmmm... I'm not an expert, but LPS's are known to release lots of protein toxins against other species in your tank. Please, be careful! Many of these protein toxins can be dangerous to humans!

Thanks for the warning on the toxicity. I learned that lesson this morning, when I woke up and my eyes were ON FIRE.

At first I thought it was pink eye, but they didn't itch...: they burned. Then I realized that I had been handling some coral right before I went to bed.

(I had a mushrrom coral squirt me right in the eye, a few months back, and that was painful. This was even MORE painful.)

Today, I went to the Dr., told him the story, felt like an idiot, got some eye drops, and went home.... Lesson learned ...again.

Update: Day 2-

Torches look much better. But my blastos, hammer and frogspawn still look like crap.

Should I put a fresh bag of carbon in? If I do that, should I take out the chemi-pure, or leave it?

I'm really worried about my blastos. The rest, aren't so important to me.

Here's a few pics of them before the slime attack:

And this is 2 days after the slime attack:

Do you think they'll make it? If I loose them, I'll cry.

Thanks for the help.

PS: my eyes are still swollen, but I'm more concerned with the blastos right now. Pretty sick, huh?
