Default Lion not eating.

I can not figure out why he wont eat. I have tried everything I can think of to get him to eat, every kind of food soaked in garlic. Nothing he has not eaten in a couple weeks. He goes up to it and looks at it but never eats.

Have you been trying live food? Lion fish really only need to eat every three or four days after a good meal- but often want more- I started mine with rosies and grass shrimp and graduated to frozen krill- but he will only eat the whole ones with the eyes still on them and also likes to follow it down before striking-

Default lion fish feeding

I used to have a lionfish as well back in the day. What a beautiful fish. Is yours a dwarf lion or what? The best way that i fed my lionfish was frozen krill on the end of a chop stick. Put the food right on the end and squish it like a distressed fish. It will eat right from that. For amusment you can see if goldfish *ha* its not good to feed it too many goldfish though. Once now and then like on superbowl sunday. hahahah i hope this helps
