First, I am glad your fish is doing better.

Ground the tank as all tanks should be grounded – it plugs into the wall and grounds the tank using your homes ground. Get that other test kit and make sure your ammonia is zero. Other than that keep a watchful eye on everyone and take note of any bullying.

Additionally I would suggest you get some med’s for your tank “just in case” - I always keep some Maracyn II on hand. If you notice the fish develops labored breather, scratching or cloudy eyes than you might be facing a bacterial infection probably brought on by stress. You will want to be prepared – but aside from that it sounds like your fish is doing much better and all is well. Good luck.

He got worse again and then he died

Still no explanation as to what happened! Other fish are still fine! So its a mystery.

Sorry for your loss---I am going through a tuff time with my new bi-color angel--He is having a tough time acclimating--has been a week now and still staying in a cave and not eating well. I dont know if he is gonna make it. Also has ick, but it looks like it is getting better. K+
