Default Leather coral got sucked into filter!! Help!!

Our leather coral decided to migrate today and ended up in the filter. Turned the filter off got it out and it doesn't look good. Any suggestions????

btw, Welcome to 3Reef.
I dont suppose you have another tank that you could use for a quarantine tank or hospital tank?
Sometimes all you can do is watch and wait, or if you are really good at fragging leathers...
You could take the razor to it.
Can you post any pictures?

Sounds like a bunch of frags to me.

Don't worry, leathers are very durable. Will just sulk awhile after experience with filter.

Bad water conditions and lack of flow are what do leathers in.

as omard said leathers are troopers.. I have 3 in my nano that grow none stop even after my fragging, which is new to me.. It should be fine. I cut mine way down and sell to my lfs. They always grow back without a problem.>>>>>

Keep your hands off it as they don't like being touched.
