its curable, but a pain in the arse. Formalin works for it, copper does nothing. Dipping for 2 mins will do nothing, need to deep for 10-15mins if you are freshwater dipping.

Here is a good article on getting you started, but I would go more extreme on taking care of the problem long term.

HI. about 2 months ago my blue tang came down with what I thought was a bacterial infection. when I described it to a well trusted reef person they thought it must be ICH. At any rate I was leaving town and was distraught over not being here to take care of the fish. It was suggested that I should soak the fish food in fresh squeezed garlic and Zoe. So that is what my husband did until I got back into town 3 days later. He was actually beginning to look and act better. I have to say that I also went and got some Maracyn 2 and soaked his morning food in that. I did not add it to the tank water. Within about a week he was almost completely cleared up. I hope this will be of some help. I am not an expert by any stretch, but sometimes what helped for 1 might help for another. Good Luck.

You just got those a couple of weeks ago, its going to be a while before they start spawning. If they are stressed the slightest lil bit, they will not spawn. This parasite just didnt show up overnight, its probally been there for atleast a few days before you noticed it.

What did you use to cycle your tank? It seems like your tank wasnt fully cycled, and you added the clown pair and it overloaded the bacteria and caused a spike which stressed the fish out.

Paraguard is a good all around treatment, I would do a formalin dip and then keep them in a QT with paraguard in it. You want to knock this problem out as quick as you can. Brooklynella is a quick killer, by the time you notice it, the fish is suffering.
