| Hammer time! Got a big problem. My hammer coral fell about 3 days ago.
Since the fall he looks o.k. but he's not extending like he did before I don't know if this is caused by a.) He got hurt in the fall b.) He dosen't like the new spot ( I'm skiddish about putting him back where he was) c.) The currant is all wrong. ( I keep moving the currant around to try and please him! or d.) all of the above.
So I also have moved the coral daily almost I know this is bad but it never looks happy am I just upseting the coral with all this different movement should I just put it back where it was it stayed there with out falling for months ( I susspect a crab may have been the culprit) please help with your thoughts

| Re: Hammer time! Thanks J.
I thought I might be messin' with it too much. I did put it back in it's origanal spot. I have 55 watt power compacts so I had it high up in the tank. The new spot was lower and I don't think he liked it. He already looks happier than ever (in the last three days) back where he was. Now I have to worry about another fall though.

| Re: Hammer time! same here. epoxy or superglue is fine too!
_________
I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong! |

| Re: Hammer time! I really don't want to use the glue or epoxy dosen't seem right. If i put it in a crack between two rocks does it matter if it is up and down or can it be facing out (towards the front glass)?does this matter? I don't know, I thought that it should be facing toward the light Let me know what you guys think! |
