| Green Sea Hares Hi everyones.
I just bought some Green Sea Hares.They are amazing.They are the best algea eaters.I have them in my fish tank.But i dont know about their reef habits.I would like to put them in my reef tank.It is enyone who knows enything about. |

| Re: Green Sea Hares They are considered "reef safe" but, if I'm not mistaken, they only eat hair algae so when you run out, they will most likely die. |

| Re: Green Sea Hares They work miracles, my tank was in very very bad shape do to hair algae. in two weeks it is 90% gone. I e-mail the store i got it from, they told me how to take care of them when the algae is gone i forget what type of dried seaweed to get them, so i sent him an e-mail. THis ugly creature saved my tank, it was actually my last shot before giving up and shutting down the lights totally. My experience is that it is reef safe, it ate all the hair algae grwoing on my torch coral with out any harm to it.
