Go with a mag-drive . They are strong and reliable . If you look up mag-drive pumps.You can find one that will fill your needs !! I am using a mag 9.5 to pump my breading tanks and i have it going through 4 Y at five feet and it is working great !! A mag should be what you are looking for . The size of mag you are looking for , I cant tell you .That has a lot to do with .Where the skimmer and Fug is in your set up . I would go with a bigger pump then what you thing you need !!! When you are pluming up your set up . Make sure you put some valves so you can control the flow to the skimmer and the refugium .

Thanks Ginny, yes, that did help. I talked to the pet store people and they suggested the same thing. I ordered 2 600gph pumps from the That Fish Place catalog, and will let you guys know how that works ou t.
