Yes, they are sensitive fish.
How long did you acclimate him for?
How old is your aquarium?

What foods have you tried using? Live or frozen mysis shrimp are tough for almost any fish to resist eating. If he won't eat them, then he might be sick. It's always a good idea to ask the pet store to feed them before you purchase the fish. That way, you'll know if the fish will eat and what it will eat before you buy it.

Sounds like you did a good job and that is a mature tank. Good food selection too. I would give it time. I have had Potter's Angelfish, Coral Beauties and probably some I can't remember and they all were like that at first.

I have a flame Angel and at first he would not eat anything, then after a few days he would eat zooplanton and then I got him on flake and pelet food.
So the best advice I got is to give it a few days.

_________

Sincerely
Tom
