| Your best bet (for now since we don't know anything about your tank) is to go ahead and do a partial water change. This will help if there are any water parameter issues. Use RO water or distilled if you can but if you only have tap then make sure you at least add water conditioner to it.
To help you the best we can give as much info as you can. (temp, pH, nitrate, other water params that you might have)
What type of fish? Are there any suspicious markings on the fish? Any harassment by other tank mates? There are so many things that could cause this reaction in your fish, so pls post some more info so we can help you and your fish better.

| Sorry for your lose. The ammonia spike probably had a great deal to due with it. All the tangs I've ever owned were fragile. I think clown tangs are especially so(I'm no expert though).
Was there something that died? What kind of filtration do you run? Is there a fuge connected?
There are plenty of very knowledgeable people here at 3reef. I'm sure they would help you try to prevent this from happening again. |
