| Well the type of food may not be the problem, but it does sound like you are overfeeding.

| notice any bulges in the shape of a worm?
Also, youd help your fish population eat easier if you dethawed those brine shrimp cubes before tossing them into your tank. Also, I like to recommend Selcon additives to frozen cubed foods (or any for that matter). Let your brine shrimp cube dethaw with 0.5 mls of selcon in a shot glass, and toss it in your tank a few hours later after its had a chance to soak. _________ Kibbles and bits and bits and bites, and bacon and bits and kibbles and bits...... | I know someone said Epsom salt won't work with marine animals, but I used it when my ray was constipated and it worked. I used about 4 tablespoons in a cup of RO/DI water for my 150G tank. A day later he bloated look was gone and there were 4 lumps of ray poop on the sand. It may have been coincidence, but it seemed to work for me.
I also agree with using Selcon, the stuff is great with nutrients the animals need. |

| Can you feed him some vegetable matter? Emerald Entree has Spinach along with some meaty foods. Are you feeding Brine Shrimp enriched with Spirulina or just Brine Shrimp? Brine Shrimp is like candy for them with unfortunately not much nutritional value unless it's got spirulina in there. The Ocean Nutrition should be well balanced though, just thaw it out first and like every one else said add Selcon and garlic extract. Good nutrition and feeding less often should clear this up but you had better get on it.

| First, Is he actually eating? That is a telling sign.
My guess is an obstruction. As someone said earlier, when their fish finally stated to poop they saw shrimp legs etc...
If he is eating then worry not. I am sure he will poop. If he stops eating then your in emergency mode and I cannot help you there. _________ www.thesmartfisherman.com
