| Crazyiness with Feather Duster and Pepp. Just brought home a new feather duster- pretty decenty size. I barely got it out of the bag and one of my peppermint shrimps literally attacked. I thought at first it was just picking off stuff, but then he headed straight to the crown. He is seriously pulling little feathers out of the crown and eating them. The feather duster is shrinking into its tube but the peppermint shrimp is digging into the tube and pulling- pretty hard to get the feather off. What do I do? Is this normal? If I get a chance I'm thinking the little peppermint is going into my nano- where there is no feather dusters.

| It's really weird because I bought 2 feather dusters and the shrimp is only attacking the one. The other peppermint shrimp I have could seem to care less about the featherdusters. When I tried to catch the shrimp while he was picking at it I think I scared and haven't seen him attack it since. But he may have done some damage because that feather duster hasn't opened in about a day. |

| Are you sure its a true peppermint shrimp?
There are many shrimps out there that look very similar to peppermints, but actually aren't _________ |

| I think that's the best advice, I'm not going to disturb my whole tank for a cheap feather duster and peppermint shrimp. |

| I agree with phoenix, are you sure it is a true peppermint shrimp and not a camelback shrimp? They are sometimes mis-labled when sold. I have a giant feather duster in my tank with 3 peppermint shrimp, and the onlt time they bother it is to go from point a to point b if its in the way.
Good luck to you! |
