Generally, from what I have read, if the tenticles look healthy, the base is not off-color and it is still able to attach to the rock, there is no problem. And Jason (PL) has a good point. If they are sticky, it is a good thing. Slimey means it is stressed out. And you will actually be able to see the slime stringing away from the anenome. When I changed out my tank, mine did that. It scared the $#@# out of me. It looks OK to me from a rookie's point of view.
