| Were they new to tank, or old residents.
What other neighbors did they have. Something may just not have liked them.
Any signs of injury (torn fins) etc? -- that might indicate either ruckus between selves or abuse by other fish?

| Sorry to hear about the loss of your Clowns! You may have had a limited amount of dissolved oxygen and a accumulation of carbon dioxide! Just a thought...
It is adviseable to position a powerhead at the top of your tank to increase aggitation at the water/air surface interface to retard this from happening. Night time is the critical time for the amount of dissolved oxygen to drop drastically as photosynthesis has shut down, unless you have good aeration, or a refugium with reverse daylight lighting scheme! _________ 125gal.w/Mag9.5 return(dual megaflow)>Mag7 pump Aqua Cev180skimmer.Wave2k Hamilton Reefstar(2)250watthqi(mh)pend.a Yellow, Naso Tang Red Lip Blenny Percula Clown Demoiselles Niger Trigger F. | Thank you Coral Reefer. We do have a powerhead at 200GPH. We also have a canister filter onboard that breaks the water at the top of the water line. The tank also has 30lbs of LR and 30lbs of Live Sand.... |
