  | Chemi-clean blow up HELP!!!! Treated my 90gal, followed directions to a T'e and Skimmer explosion. I have since last Friday 10/01 have done 3 x 20gallon water changes and my skimmer is still blowing it's top. All my levels are on the money. This is starting to worry me for there is nothing but a bunch of micro-bubble in my cloudy tank.
Someone please help with this one. |

| Re: Chemi-clean blow up HELP!!!! As a practice when doing any kind of treatment or feeding you should **** of your skimmer. I have experience only to go on here but it seems that all the products used to kill algea seem to really make the skimmers go insaneand it takes days of being shut down to get it back to normal. But this goes for feeding the tank if the skimmers on it will pull what ever food or supplement out of the water leading to under feeding or worse yet over feeding by having to add what the skimmer pulls out in more frequent feedings. If you dont want to shut down the skimmer at least target feed it helps a little _________ Starting over with a 210 RR from All Glass, Lifereef Berlin sump, skimmer (installed) and calcium reactor (ordered). Aquatraders Catalina 72" 3x400 mh 10 k/4x96 watt blue PC, Closed Loop with Little Giant 4MDQX-SC and 2- 3/4 Seaswirls. |
