| Re: Can anyone identify this problem i have? Your tank will cycle through green algae, brown diatom, and cyanobacteria stages as your tank matures. There is not a lot you can do except wait it out and let your tank balance itself out as you employ good tank husbandry practices. Good water flow and not over feeding will go a long way toward a good tank. _________ Just tryin to recreate God's perfection in a glass bowl. 20 Gallon Reef W/Live Rock, mated pair of Maroon Clowns, Softies, 110 watts PC 10,000k lighting, and skimmer. http://www.3reef.com/uploads/1craig400.jpg |

| Re: Can anyone identify this problem i have? Keep cycling!!! And, if you arent running the best protien skimmer you can afford, it will probably drag out the cycle

| Re: Can anyone identify this problem i have? diatom!
_________
I retired the reef for now. Maybe a nano or a softies tank in the future when I have both time and money. 60 gallon FOWLR in the meantime. My echidna nebulosa are still going strong! |
