| In my experience, the pictures show a definite dying and decay situation but if you dip in iodine as Tangster suggested, you may be able to salvage whats left.
If so, it may eventually grow over the dead part again.
I had fragged a bubble to salvage four parts that were still alive, sticking each piece in the substrate, and after a while, the bubble spread out across the substrate and eventually grew new skeleton over top of the substrate making the frags about 5 times larger than the originals. |

| Good dip it again daily for the next 5 days or so. It will come back alright but one dip will make them look much better and people will stop , Like with a antibiotic people will take it a few days and start to feel great then stop and only have the infection to come back bigger and badder.. _________ Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible (Doug Larson) |

| I was just about to update, here are some pics after 4 dips in lugol's solution. I dipped it four of the last five days. It looks like it has responded well. It is still not opened fully, but it is close. I am going to give it a couple days to get back to normal and then see what it looks like. Thanks for the interest and concern.
the area on the left was the really bad area before
area in front was real bad area before |

| I hope your bubble makes it ! I love this coral. I have two of them myself.
So what color is it? Cream or blue can't tell with your lighting? I have a metalic green one, and just a regular green one. Anyways good luck ! Keep us posted. |
