It's funny, I hadn't heard anything about these storms until I came into work today and everyone was freaking out about them. I dunno, perhaps I've been living under a rock...

Oh brother,we still have some clean up and repairs to be done from the last round of storms,plus 4 days without power.Man,i hope we dodge a bullet this time,but i'm right in the center of the red zone .

 

You're not alone there I think there are a lot of ohio people on this forum! Im in Pittsburgh and we are usually OK, last time I remember losing power for an extended period of time was snowmegeddon. Makes me really think about investing in a quality battery backup to at least be able to run powerheads during an outage if nothing else

 

yeah, we're still cleaning up around here too. We've dodged a few these last 2 weeks, lets hope we dodge this one too!

 

yea i want to look into a battery backup. Generator is nice but a pain in the power is only going to be out for a few hours.

hopefully everyone is well prepared for some power outages!

 

In Montana we don't lose power much anymore, but my wife and I are still looking to set up the tank stuff on a dedicated generator circuit just in case.

 

lol, great, the wind just started picking up, and the power blinked off twice already!

May as well go borrow the generator;(
