| aptasia on leather rock Im currently on a mission slaying aptasia that i got with a finger leather the other week. As im getting frustrated as im finding heaps of tiny ones (only on one rock) should or could i take the coral out and gently start chiseling the aptasia rock away from the leather and toss it ?
will the air affect the coral?(when i take it outta the tank)

| I like your idea of removing rock and getting rid of it, if all aptasia on it, before they spread.
Cut finger leather off at base, and stick it in a hole someplace or tie to rock. It will do fine. _________ AG "125," AquaC EV 180, 30 gal sump, "SCWD", 80 lbs LR, CoralSeaLife "Moonlite" Hood, PFO 250W HQI Mini-Pendant (SPS HQI 14000k bulb)

| Be carefully when adding a copperbands as they like to pick on corals. I would do the peppermint shrimp first.

| I would not suggest relying on shrimp or fish to get rid of these little buggers...it would be best to take matter into your own hands and kill them yourself...dramatic music? Joe's juices, I have heard works good, I myself just stick some 2 part epoxy over them. _________ Tank Specs:
