Well wish I had a better first post then this and somewhat hope nobody has an answer, that would mean that this had happened them.
As I registered last night here at 3reef I heard my two year old rummaging around and got up to check on her. Found her playing with the dial liquid "anti-bacterial" soap and my 110-gallon tank. She was just trying to give the fish a bath.
Anyway she couldn't have gotten more then 2 or 3 oz of this into the tank. Most of it was around the top and on the glass but I changed about 1/2 the water anyway and things seem to be ok.
Anemones didn't like something at first but seem to be a lot better tonight. Tank wasn't full of suds either so that makes me think less got in.
My question is if anyone knows how affective the anti-bacterial agent is in any of this soap because my feeling is I may have just hit the reset button on my ammonia cycle and wonder if it is going to cycle again. I feel without a doubt some of the cycle will be undone, but not sure how much damage could be done.
I've got about 250lb of live rock and enough biological filter on it for 2 tanks so I feel safe, but.....anything else anyone can suggest might make me feel a little safer.
