I got a sebae anemone that decided to suck onto a aquaclear filter and I have removed that tubing, but the anemone still isn't letting go although I have tried manually to remove the anemone from the intake.. any suggestions as how i can get the anemone to come off the intake..? it's sucking on pretty bad and the water is stinking up although the anemone is still shriveling and opening up.. ;D

Turn the filter off and let the anemone come out on its own, if you pull at it you risk the chance of it ripping.

or keep it in the tank and let it come off on its own?

I would leave it in, you dont want to put it through anymore stress and leave it be. Like stingray said DO NOT pull him off you may rip it.

I am tempted to say blown from the other end of the tube. But something tells me this is stupid. :)

I would direct a low-moderate flow PH in it's direction. This will entice it to move off the tube. Of course, like everyone said, turn off the filter first.

Ice cube. You can place an ice cube on its foot and it should let go ;)
