0 to 100+ in 7 days..... Ok, so I was looking at my tank this morning and noticed that I couldn't see any crabs moving around. Somewhat alarmed I tested the tank for params and found that my nitrate had jumped to at least 100ppm from 0ppm last Friday. Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0. I'm concerned because I don't know how it jumped that fast. It's a 46g bow, with a 20g sump, 45LB LR, Corallife skimmer.
I'm preparing to do a water change, but is there anything else I should be looking for?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance _________ 1 true-percula & 2 fox-face firefish. 46-Bow w/ 20gal as sump. DIY wet/dry and DIY overflow. Coral Life skimmer. QuietOne return pump.
