Default what type of alge is this?

im wondering what type of alge this is its kind of an eye sore
and should i just pull it out by hand?it is the obvious long green hair alge on the left.

give me 5 minutes to resize and up load. had to turn halides back on and also
if you might know what these to slugs are just saw them when i turned my lights on finnaly got a pic of them

i put a couple of hermt crabs in my tank they keep that algie under control quite well im also told fish like tangs will eat it but u will have to be very carfull on yer choice of fish in yer tank with that lion fish anything that it can fit in its mouth will prolly end up there not sure if that includes hermit crabs too
im not sure what the slug srry cant help yah there

Thats not the typical hair algae.... Thats maidens hair algae. Its more of an ornamental algae. I would still toss it, but you might be able to sell it because some people like to have it.

im still deciding on the last fish to add to the tank since it only has 3. 2 of which are going to grow more i think the puffer is an adult
