| I've got them in my cannister filter, on powerheads etc. Their are so many it's unbelievable!! | I wouldn't call it corraline. The purple stuff on your rock is, but not what is on your glass. 
As far as images go. you have to upload the image to your photo gallery.

And, if they're both purple (rock & glass) why is it not coraline?

| Started with some nice LR. Use Marc Weiss Reef Vital DNA 1 Capful per Day. Results are fantastic!

Just curious, tks. | Here's an easy way to tell. Use a magnet cleaner (or a clean rag), and wipe the microalgaes from the glass. If the purple stuff comes off too, it was cyanobacteria. If it stays and can only be scraped off with your fingernail, it is coralline. _________ Curt |

It looks like the stuff on your glass is easily wiped off. With Corraline you could wipe the algae cleaner over it many times with no results.

| Every LR I put in, coroline algae grow on it within 2 days. That's how good purple-up are...or I am doing something else right (which idk what  ).

125 gallons (72" x 18" x 22"), 20 gallons sump, 29 gallons fuge. 90 lbs sugar fine sand in MT and 30 in fuge.
