coral reefer is there different types of red algea i was lookin it up on the net and i found some that looked like slime and some that look like little tree branchs or is it the same thing

^^ I agree with guru.

Algae isn't a bad thing at all, it just uses excess nutrients. Its the owners personal opinion if they want to 'dirty' their tank.

Sooo...to sum it up, as long as it isnt GHA or something, to each his own

Question

Good luck botie, just make sure you have a high output light before adding the anemone to ensure its health!

I have a question, which algae is WORSE, red or green?
(the red type is more slimy and the green type is more hairy. both types vary between bright and dull green and maroon colors.)
