| I honestly couldn't tell you never used it. My 5.5 has been up for 5 months, and I've been seeing more coralline growing on the glass within the last 2 months... |

| ditto, I have never used that stuff. You should be careful with it b/c it has alot of iodine. As long as you keep your Cal level between 400-460, you'll be fine. When I did start using the Purple up, I say it took 3-4 weeks before it started. I started using it to help cause my can was 380 - 400.
One thing I will say, SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE the bottle. It settles at the bottom. When you pour it should be thinck not watery.

I GOING to use the same salt and i'm just wondering if you like it? _________

| Never used it and never considered using it. Mother nature will take care of the coraline when everything is right with your system. |

| within a day or so the crushed particles in Purple form at the bottom on bottle to a solid... you have to take the bottle and smack it against the floor/wall/wood/ somethin HARD.... till you feel the solid disk in the bottom dissolved when shook up...
I have been dosing purple up for about 2 months now with good growth.. but i also do water changes once a week and i think it plays a bigger role then the purple up does, but after i use purple up i can tell where spots are concentrated on my rocks, dark purple/light purple everywhere where it has settled on rocks overnight |
